Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph are in talks for Birds of a Feather to come back – as a lockdown special. The sitcom, which also starred Pauline Quirke, used to be on BBC but moved to ITV in 2014, having been off air for 16 years.
Following three series and two Christmas specials, it was announced in February 2019 there were no plans to make any more episodes.
ITV boss Kevin Lygo said at the time: “We had success with Birds of a Feather – our most successful sitcom in years – but it’s come to a sort of natural end.” But talking on the Distinct Nostalgia podcast, Linda, 62, said: “There was talk of one of me and Lesley on lockdown.
