Perth and Kinross Council refuse workers have voted to strike if the pay offer is not improved. PKC this week warned the public there will "undoubtedly be an impact on collections scheduled for these days".
Unions voted to reject a 3.5 per cent pay offer made by COSLA on Friday.Bin workers are set to strike later this month. Refuse workers - from GMB and Unite - in Edinburgh will strike from August 18 until August 30.
GMB members in waste services at Perth and Kinross are one of 15 councils set to follow suit following the latest pay increase offer made by COSLA on Friday.
The strikes will be held from Friday, August 26 to Monday, August 29 inclusive and Wednesday, September 7 to Saturday, September 10 inclusive.
