Almost 15 years later, she's a mum of three - Nelly, nine, Arthur, seven, and Margot, 16 months, - happily married to her husband Greg, and has a number of successful businesses on the go.
In an exclusive chat with OK! during a tour of her fully-renovated Essex home, the 34 year old shares the one thing that would make her pack it all in without hesitation.
While she says she'd "always love to still be in TV", her family's needs comes first and if or when her children object to appearing on the nation's screens, "we'll stop", she revealed.
