Billie Faiers furious and ‘saw red’ after woman smacks her son Arthur, 5, during flight

Billie Faiers was fuming and admitted she "saw red" after a stranger smacked her five year old son Arthur during a flight back to the UK from Dubai.The child, who was a toddler at the time, had been struggling to stay calm on the plane and started having a tantrum, which the TOWIE star was doing her best to control.

Arthur, who recently celebrated his fifth birthday with a lavish party, ended up kicking a woman's chair in front of him as he sat bouncing on his mum's lap, but the woman became so frustrated she took it upon herself to discipline the little boy herself, slapping him on the arm.

Furious and incredibly angry as the woman had no right to behave in such a way to her son, 32 year old Billie said she "saw red".

"We were on the way back from Dubai, and there was a family that were sat in front of us and Arthur was kicking off a bit - as kids do sometimes," the star, who also shares daughter Nelly, eight, with her husband Greg Shepherd, said on her latest podcast with sister Sam Faiers, 31. "Don't get me wrong, this is really annoying, but he had kicked the back of the woman's chair. "He was on my lap and I was trying to calm him down. "I said to her 'I'm so sorry', and that was it," the reality TV favourite continued. "Then he was having a bit of a tantrum and he was crying. "Well, the woman turned around in her seat and she smacked him.
