Big hearted West Lothian gran to brave the shave for charity
dailyrecord.co.ukA big-hearted West Lothian gran is getting ready to take on yet another charity challenge.We reported last year how Helen Stockdale (pictured) had braved freezing temperatures in just a sleeping bag to raise money for a lifeline mental health charity.Helen slept outside, with around 100 others, to raise money for the Steps to Hope charity, which helps people experiencing homelessness and addiction.Now the 55-year-old is getting ready to Brave the Shave this weekend to once again help Steps to Hope, along with Hearts and Minds.Hearts and Minds send ‘Clowndoctors’ to visit children in hospitals, hospices and schools for complex needs.They are always ready to play and connect with everyone.They also support people suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia with their Elder Flower group.To provide raffle prizes, buy tickets or sponsor Helen, email her at byershelen@hotmail.com.
