'Big cat' spotted in Cheshire as woman and puppy 'terrified' by latest sighting

mirror.co.ukA woman out walking her dog claims she heard a "really deep growl" near to the area where a big cat had previously been spotted in Cheshire.
Cheshire Live reports that she was out with her puppy in Chester Meadows when she took a break on a bench. When she sat down, the dog walker says she heard a growl coming from behind her in the dense undergrowth, which frightened her and the puppy.
The woman, known only as Imogen, spoke to Puma Watch North Wales, a group set up to monitor sightings and raise awareness of big cats.
She said: “This sounds really crazy, but I was walking my dogs and our puppy wanted to be picked up as was her second walk. "I had a blanket around me as a sling as she’s heavy.
