Big Brother's Imogen Thomas had a severe health scare, revealing she caught a 'deadly viral infection'.The reality TV celeb, who rose to fame in the 2006 series of the show, took to her social platforms to share the frightening details with her followers, disclosing that she was coughing up blood.

She recounted how her condition became so serious that she hadn't been able to eat for nearly a week. Her doctor dramatically called paramedics when she reported difficulty in breathing.

She penned: "Day 6 in bed. For those mocking the flu this case has been all over the news of how savage it is. I couldn't breathe so I called my doctor and he called the paramedics." Imogen continued with gratefulness for the swift action taken: "Drastic I know but I'm so grateful he did because this viral infection has been deadly and scary.Today I'm coughing small amounts of blood.
