Apple TV has a track record for releasing underrated and under-watched treasures. A number of their returning series were listed in Rotten Tomatoes' best shows of 2024, including Pachinko, Silo, Shrinking and Slow Horses, which claimed the top spot.
They also launched several new series that scored at least 90% on the website, such as Sunny, Criminal Record and Where's Wanda.
2025 appears to be no different, with the streaming service offering the eagerly awaited return of Severance in January. However, beyond that are five brand new series that look set to become the next hidden gems and must-watch shows of the year.
