Big Brother's live eviction shows give housemates a chance to get an idea of how they're being perceived by the public while on the show, with the eliminations being the only time they get to interact with the outside world.
Finding out whether they're loved or hated by viewers can be tough, as controversial housemate Kerry Riches found out during the second live eviction.
The NHS manager, 40, was left devastated when the entire audience could be heard chanting "get Kerry out" and she later admitted that being booed had made her feel "rubbish" in the diary room as she began to wonder about how her loved ones were being impacted.
Viewers are now convinced Kerry has made a conscious effort to change her behaviour and attitude in the house in response to the negative reaction she received at the live eviction.
