Betty Bobbitt has died at the age of 81 following a "major stroke", her family has revealed. Betty was best known for playing Judy Bryant in Prisoner: Cell Block H, and had spent almost a week in hospital before passing away on Monday.
The actress' son, Christopher Hill, shared the news on Facebook, writing: "Sadly, mum passed away this morning at 10:20am after five nights in hospital. "She was peaceful and in no pain.
Thank you for your support and apologies if I can't respond to everyone but I will try. I will post more later." Betty starred alongside Paul Hogan in three of the Crocodile Dundee films.
