Celtic chairman Ian Bankier has led the tributes to club legend Bertie Auld after he passed away aged 83. A much-loved figure around Celtic Park, the Lisbon Lion wrote his name in the history books by playing a key role in the 1967 European Cup Final victory over Inter Milan.
Auld spent 12 years in the Hoops with his two spells at Parkhead between 1955 and 1971 sandwiching time spent at Dumbarton and Birmingham City.In that period he won five Scottish titles three Scottish Cups, four League Cups, and an Intercontinental Cup alongside the famous victory in Lisbon.
