It has been a long road for Bernie Sanders, but on Wednesday, he announced that he is officially ending his presidential campaign.

Now that leaves Joe Biden to take on the Democratic nomination, and face off against Donald Trump this coming November.According to CNN, Bernie first the news to his staff during a call before addressing the nation.Following the call, Bernie lived streamed and addressed his supporters.

He said, “I wish I could give you better news, but I think you know the truth, and that is that we are now some 300 delegates behind Vice President Biden, and the path toward victory is virtually impossible.
