Bernardo Silva 'will not force a move away' from Manchester City this summer, despite Barcelona's avid interest, according to an emerging report.
In a repeat of last August, it seems like the Spanish giants have ramped up their interest in City's midfield sensation. With Frenkie de Jong heavily linked with a move to cross-town rivals, Manchester United, Xavi Hernandez's side are in dire need of reinforcements in the centre of the park.
Pep Guardiola revealed that Silva asked to leave the club last summer, but a lack of funds in a Covid-hit market meant the 27-year-old had to stay at the Etihad Stadium.
But, as expected, the midfielder knuckled down and was one of the standout players in City's fourth Premier League triumph in five seasons.
