Ben Shephard couldn't help but make a cheeky dig at co-host Cat Deeley as he spoke out on their first week as the new host of This Morning.

Their debut on the show came weeks after the former Good Morning Britain presenter and So You Think You Can Dance star's new jobs were revealed as the permanent replacements for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

While Ben, 49, and Cat, 47, had never hosted the show together before, they had had appearances in the months following Phillip's exit in May as Ben hosted with Holly while Cat teamed up with Rylan Clark and Craig Doyle following Holly's exit in October.
