Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are reuniting on the big screen yet again! The longtime friends will star in the upcoming crime thriller movie RIP, which is being written and directed by Joe Carnahan. Joe is best known for directing movies like 2006′s Smokin’ Aces, 2010′s The A-Team, 2011′s The Grey, 2020′s Boss Level, and 2021′s Copshop.
Childhood friends Matt and Ben first made a mark together with Good Will Hunting, for which they won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
In the years since, they’ve appeared together in movies like Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, The Last Duel, and Air. They’re also working together on the upcoming Netflix movie Animals, which Ben is directing with Matt starring.
Not much is known about RIP yet as plot details are being kept secret, according to Deadline. A distributor has not yet been attached, but the film is expected to find one “soon.”
