Ben Affleck ‘lost passion’ for Batman role after fans were left ‘disappointed’ by Justice League

metro.co.ukBen Affleck has opened up on his decision to give up the role of Batman, admitting he ‘lost passion’ for playing the Caped Crusader.
He admitted that while he really enjoyed working on Batman vs Superman, his experiences on Justice League took the shine off the role for him.
Ben told GQ: ‘I had a better time on Batman v Superman which I really enjoyed doing. Justice League was unfortunately touched by personal tragedy, a death in Zack [Snyder’s] family. ‘Sometimes things work and gel and sometimes you seem to just be having one problem after another.
Zack Snyder stepped down from Justice League after the death of his daughter, with Avengers director Joss Whedon brought in to finish off the film.
