A1's Ben Adams has left his fans baffled with the 'truth' behind the formation of his boyband and their contemporaries Westlife.
The singer, 38, took to Twitter to reveal that the two bands were initially meant to be one supergroup, formed to rival S Club 7.
But he says that in the end, the lads were split into two groups to make Westlife and A1. Alongside his confession, he shared a picture of all of the lads posing up together.
He wrote: "Not many people know this, but we were originally set up as a band to rival @SClub7 , before we decided to break off into 2 separate bands..... @A1Official @westlifemusic" His fans weren't sure whether he was telling the truth.
