A woman who hit her partner on the head with a shoe has been placed under supervision for 18 months.Stacey Lynch, 24, admitted assaulting the man at a flat in Turquoise Terrace, Bellshill, on March 6 last year.However, an allegation that she also struck him with a bottle, causing severe injury and permanent disfigurement, was dropped.Defence agent Diarmid Bruce told Hamilton Sheriff Court his client now faced a much-reduced charge.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
