Brent Lang Executive Editor Susan Cain’s “Bittersweet: How Sorrow and Longing Make Us Whole” has been optioned for the stage by Bated Breath Theatre Company. The author will help adapt her bestselling book, which weaves together poignant stories of loss and resilience, as well as Cain’s personal experience. It also touches on art, literature, religion and science to explain why longing and loss can be so deeply profound and transformational. Mara Lieberman, the executive director of Bated Breath Theatre Company, will write the adaptation in collaboration with Cain, and direct and produce it. The new production will be produced by Bated Breath and RRR Productions, which was founded by Ryan Ratelle.

The 30-second clip introduces Streep as a “surprise you never saw coming,” before panning to the Oscar winner fumbling a line during what looks to be a table read. “Oh my god, it’s me!” Streep says between bouts of nervous laughter. “Oh, I’m so sorry. It’s me, isn’t it.” “Only Murders in the Building” follows three strangers — Charles, Oliver, and Mabel (Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) — who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. After a suspicious death takes place inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio sets out with their precise knowledge of true crime on a hunt to find the killer and ultimately unravel the truth. As they record a podcast of their own to document the case, the three unfold the complex secrets of the building which stretch back years.

Aside from acting, the Academy Awards offer a wide variety of high-profile awards for other professions within the film and entertainment industry.The individual who has won the most awards in the history of the organization was Disney founder and animation pioneer Walt Disney.Through a career that expanded across decades, Disney won 26 Oscars and received 59 nominations.  The period Disney received his Academy accolades occurred between 1932 and 1969 in the Best Animated Short category for "Three Little Pigs," "The Ugly Duckling," "Winnie the Pooh" and "The Blustery Day." Hollywood Reporter survey found that a majority would like to go back and change their 1977 votes for “Rocky” to “All the President’s Men.” And looking back at 1999, if they had to do it all over again, they’d give the gold to war epic “Saving Private Ryan” instead of the largely-forgotten “Shakespeare in Love.” But there have been a lot more recipients of Hollywood’s highest honor that have fallen out of favor — and sometimes in epic fashion. Here are 11 examples of Best Picture winners that probably wouldn’t win the award in 2023 — that is, if they were even green-lighted in the first place.

This year’s Razzie nominations were mired in controversy about the award body nominating 12-year-old actor Ryan Kiera Armstrong from “Firestarter” in January. After the internet erupted, the Razzies apologized, removed Armstrong from the ballot and introduced an age limit of 18 for future nominations. The Razzies put itself on the ballot, replacing Armstrong, and won in a landslide. In the awards video, “Razz Berry” said “Until our next mistake, cheers!,” accepting the dishonor.
