Becky Hill on why you don't see Love Islanders smoking on screen anymore
ok.co.ukBecky Hill made her debut appearance in the Love Island villa when she gave an incredible live performance last week. We saw the singer, 28, perform her chart-topping tracks - My Heart Goes (La Di Da), Remember and Crazy What Love Can Do - for the likes of Paige Thorne, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Danica Taylor who were all seen fangirling.
And as Becky opened up to OK! in an exclusive chat, the star finally answered one of the biggest questions we have when we watch the show.
Where do the islanders go when they want a smoke? She told us: “Well if anybody wants a cigarette they have to go out one by one to this tree outside with a bucket and smoke on their own. "I was like: ‘Wow, really?’ That was a funny little fact that I thought was quite interesting." She continued: "Obviously the producers don’t want to miss any filming and they’re not allowed to be filmed smoking and not really drinking so I found that quite amusing.” Becky wore a gorgeous dress and heels for her live performance, as she followed in the footsteps of Mabel, Craig David and DJ Tom Zanetti who have previously performed in Majorca's hottest night spot.
After Becky's performance, Danica said: "She was absolutely insane, so grateful and blessed to be here right now and to have witnessed that.” It comes after fans have been backing Ekin-Su, 27, and her partner Davide, also 27, to win this year's series.
