A 'beautiful' mum who died after being hit by a train leaves behind a nine-month old daughter, her heartbroken family said. Loved ones have named Kiena Dawes as the woman who was hit by a train near Garstang on the Preston to Lancaster line on Friday afternoon.
Tributes have poured in for the 23-year-old who was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by the emergency services. Her brother Kynan Dawes said she 'was in such a bad place in her head' and 'took the decision to end what was an awful battle in her life', Lancs Live reports.
Kiena, who worked as a hairdresser in Fleetwood, leaves her nine-month-old daughter Marnie Blu Dawes.
