Bear was 21 years old at the time and had been skydiving over Zambia. His parachute failed to inflate and he landed on his pack, suffering the severe injury as a result.
Reflecting on the accident, Bear shared a photo of the scars he has on his back and revealed the ‘intense’ ice treatment he endures to aid his recovery.
