Gary Lineker has revealed why the BBC's coverage of the FA Cup tie between Liverpool and Wolves was interrupted repeatedly by porn noises being played loudly on air.The host posted a picture of a mobile phone that was taped to one of the seats in the studio where Paul Ince and Danny Murphy were giving analysis ahead of kick off.

He tweeted a picture of the device with the caption: "Well, we found this taped to the back of the set. As sabotage goes it was quite amusing."Moments after the game kicked off the floodlights at Molineux were cut for a couple of seconds due to a power cut in the local area.

It has meant the cup tie is now without VAR. Former Newcastle United striker Alan Shearer joked about the interruption in the studio beforehand.

He said: "Floodlights going off, Danny Murphy's phone going off in the studio, what else can happen."The BBC have since released a statement on the incident which reads: "We apologise to any viewers offended during the live coverage of the football this evening.
