One contestant from The Traitors could potentially be in the lead to take home the prize pot at the end of the BBC show. While it's still early days with the first episode having aired on New Year's Day, things are already heating up between the contestants as they try and figure out which individuals amongst them are the traitors in a bid to secure the final money pot of up to £120,000.

The final prize pot was added to within the first moments of episode 1, as three contestants willingly gave up their place in the competition to increase the winning amount.

However, some viewers have speculated that Fozia, Jack, and Alexander could make an unexpected return at a later date. Last week, the traitors were busy as they 'murdered' two contestants Yin and Keith in episodes 1 and 2 respectively.

While at the roundtable, faithfuls Nathan and Elen were banished from the castle after being mistaken as traitors. In the most recent plot twist, however, it was traitor Armani who had to bid farewell to the game as her behaviour led to her elimination on Friday (3rd January) night's episode.
