Love Island villa during Casa Amor week.The Boyzone singer appeared on The One Show on Monday night (July 4) to talk about his son Jack, 23, who has just entered the popular ITV2 dating-reality show.Speaking to his co-stars Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas, Ronan shared his concerns for his son, while branding him a total "softie".READ NEXT: Ronan Keating was 's****ing' himself ahead of son going into Love Island's Casa AmorHe revealed that Jack had been on the shortlist for six weeks, so they had known that the chances of him heading into the villa were high - but they didn't know until the week before.Ronan admitted that he's a "mess" while watching his son on the show, and said that he already misses him.He also noted how Jack appeared to be "nervous" during the first episode, which he thought was "understandable"."He's got such a big heart, and he's a real softy," the proud dad gushed.The Irish singer then opened up about the concerns and reservations he has, explaining: "I'm just worried about him in there, with all of those other guys."Ronan then told the hosts that he had one piece of advice to give his son before he headed into the villa, and that was: "Be yourself and have a good time."Elsewhere in the interview Ronan revealed that he almost fell off of his chair when his son told Gemma Owen that his dad was retired.
