There’s a new fresh face on the famous green sofa as The One Show announces a new major shake-up. The nightly BBC programme will be back on screens on Tuesday, August 29 after a three-week break off air for the summer.
When it returns, there will be some changes as BBC bosses have confirmed Roman Kemp is officially joining the line-up as a co-host for Alex Jones, along with Jermaine Jenas.
Capital Radio star Roman has been a guest presenter on the show before and proved a firm favourite among viewers. And another new name is being added to the roster as Lauren Laverne is also getting a regular spot on the sofa, reports Wales Online.
Meanwhile Ronan Keating will continue with his role as a host, but has admitted he’ll be “doing less” due to a busy schedule coming up.
