From his early work in Casualty and The Golden Hour to his stand-up hustle that saw him perform gigs all around the world, the 38 year old's latest career highlight is in the form of BBC's revival of Survivor - the iconic reality show that sees a group of contestants become castaway as they try and fend for themselves in an isolated location.
Joel will be the show's newest presenter, and fans of the comedian won't have to wait long to catch him action, as the show airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Saturday 28 October at 8:25pm.
