BBC Strictly's Eddie Kadi reveals favourite to win as he discloses 'dark horse' of competition

Strictly Come Dancing star Eddie Kadi appeared in bright spirits as he appeared on ITV's Lorraine as the latest celebrity to be axed alongside his partner Karen Hauer.

Eddie, 40, impressed fans during the BBC competition by bringing his rich African flare to the iconic ballroom in all his entertaining performances but he sadly lost out in the dance-off to Zara McDermott and Graziano Di Prima."Karen is wonderful she's a great partner to have had on Strictly I thought you got really lucky I just could watch her all day she is just mesmerising," host Christine Lampard said as she pressed him on the competition.Speaking about his time on the show which saw him score the first 10 of the series, the comedian said: "I'm looking at the time now and thinking 'this is where I should be stretching my muscles in the morning' the first few weeks my pancreas was turned upside down and my hips were like 'we are leaving you.' "Karen made this experience even more exciting and she was so understanding.

She allowed me to be myself and the whole time we laughed and when it came to Saturday night she would always say the same thing - 'just dance, just enjoy it." He added: "She's the longest-serving pro and I got to dance with her, she's a credit, I can't ask for any more than that."Christine said: "I can't believe you said it's one of the scariest things you've done, I mean you've headlined the O2 arena!
