With the Strictly Come Dancing semi-final now just days away, EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell were the latest pair to sit down on the It Takes Two sofa and discuss their latest performance - and what viewers could expect for the next live show.

Sitting down with show host Fleur East, the pair kicked off the proceedings by taking a look back at their Dirty Dancing inspired routine from the weekend, which saw them perform a Salsa to I’ve had the Time of My Life.

Channelling Patrick Swayze, Bobby did his very best to encompass all of the showmanship of the late actor, but sadly failed to impress the judges after his recreation of the iconic lift didn’t quite go to plan on Saturday’s show, something he admitted himself “we were a bit gutted about.” However, despite not managing the lift, Bobby and Dianne did reveal that he had mastered another tricky dance move instead - the pretzel, which is a tricky turn that involves passing the arms over and behind a person’s head. “There was a lot of technique, it wasn’t an easy ride.

We worked really, really hard to get all of those steps,” explained Dianne. “What I wanted him to do all weak was lead me. I would stop whenever I wouldn’t feel a lead and he’d be like “what are you doing” and I’d tell him, I didn’t feel the lead Bobby.” The pro dancer then added: “So I feel, that if any girl came up to you now, you’d know how to do that pretzel on your own!
