The presenter was in the audience as Bobby and Dianne competed in the show's grand final. The EastEnders actor and his Australian dance partner made it to the end of the BBC One dance contest alongside fellow finalists Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola and Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin.
Each couple had to perform three times each in a bid to impress the voting public - as the judges' scores and comments didn't count during the last live show of the competition - and Bobby and Dianne pulled out all the stops for their 'show dance' while also pulling at heartstrings once again with their emotional Couple's Choice. Ellie and Vito then placed bottom of the final leaderboard having received a total of 115 points. But it was Ellie, 22, who emerged victorious and became the youngest-ever winner of Strictly with her professional dance partner Vito, 31, with the news being confirmed by hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
