BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Tasha Ghouri praised for 'classy' reaction to Chris McCausland win

Tasha Ghouri has been praised for her 'classy' reaction to losing out in the Strictly Come Dancing final. The former Love Island star competed in the last week of the competition with professional dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec.

The pair finished joint top of the leaderboard at the end of the grand final on Saturday night (December 14) alongside JB Gill and Lauren Oakley after the four finalists had to perform three dances each.

During the final, Tasha was hailed as "quite possibly" the best Strictly Come Dancing dancer the show has ever seen after she performed a couple’s choice routine to What About Us by P!nk. Head judge Shirley Ballas praised Ghouri for getting "on top" of her emotion, and getting that to come through in the routine, while Anton Du Beke said: "Are you the best dancer on Strictly Come Dancing?
