Shirley Ballas has spoken out with praise for Giovanni Pernice after it was revealed he won't be returning to 'Strictly Come Dancing this year.
The 63-year-old star serves as head judge on the BBC dance show while Giovanni spent several years as a professional dancer.
However, it was announced earlier this month the the Italian star will not be part of this year's professional lineup for the upcoming 2024 series amid allegations of "threatening and abusive behaviour" towards his former partners.
He previously rejected the allegations and said he looks “forward to clearing my name”. Giovanni, 33, issued a fresh statement on Sunday morning (June 16) and said he is “co-operating fully” with an ongoing BBC investigation and is looking forward to “clearing my name and establishing the truth”.
