Rose Ayling-Ellis was all smiles as she rolled around in the sand during her first break in three years. The reigning Strictly Come Dancing winner has jetted off to the Maldives after reportedly splitting from her boyfriend of several years.
Her trip to the luxurious destination also comes a month after she confirmed she had quit EastEnders. The actress, who plays Frankie Lewis in the BBC One soap, announced in August that she is to leave EastEnders after two years.
Upon joining the soap in 2020, Rose was the first deaf actor to play a regular character on the soap. During her time in Albert Square, Rose had been involved in a number of big storylines, including Frankie discovering she is the daughter of Danny Dyer’s character Mick Carter, who was abused as a child.
