BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks makes emotional admission about 'trying too hard'

Pete Wicks confessed he felt like he was "trying too hard" during his time on Strictly Come Dancing. The TOWIE star appeared on Strictly: It Takes Two with dance partner Jowita Przystal after their exit post-semi-final showdown that left four pairs vying for the Glitterball Trophy - Chris and Dianne, JB and Lauren, Sarah and Vito, and Tasha and Alijaz.

During their interview with host Fleur East tonight, Pete said: "I had no view of dancing, and now, dancing to me is about how you make yourself feel and how other people feel.

There's a lot about the dancing and doing it technically right, but when you're actually doing it, and enjoying it, that's all that matters.

That's exactly how it ended up for me. "From week one, I was worried about getting the steps right and making mistakes because I was trying too hard and not just dancing.
