Pete Wicks seemingly hit back at the backlash to his place in Strictly Come Dancing's semi-final with a cryptic post before thanking a former show star for his support after speaking out in defence of him and his fellow contestant Chris McCausland.
The reality star and podcast host was seen taking part in the quarter-final of the BBC One dance contest over the weekend, with the latest live show on Saturday night (November 30) also marking Strictly's Musicals Week, the last special of the 2024 series ahead of the grand final in just a couple of weeks time.

But despite getting the lowest score of the night, Pete and Jowita avoided the dance-off and sailed through to Strictly's semi-final, which takes place this Saturday night (December 7) and will see the remaining five couples perform two dances each.
