Pete Wicks has been flooded with support, including by Jowita Przystal after making a vow to fans following his latest Strictly Come Dancing appearance.

The former The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) star was left disheartened following his latest performance in the ballroom. After a 'tough week', Pete and Jowita's latest routine didn't quite go their way as they opened the live show on Saturday night (November 2).

Dressed as the late Freddie Mercury for the show's first-ever 'Icons Week', podcast host and reality star Pete performed to a salsa to Queen's Another One Bites the Dust alongside his pro dance partner. But soon after they landed at the bottom of the leaderboard with 22 out of a possible 40 points. It was then confirmed during Sunday night's (November 3) results show that Pete and Jowita had made it through to week eight of the hit dance show despite their rocky night on the dance floor and Pete has now spoken out.
