BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Janette Manrara says 'it's been tough' as she's supported

Janette Manrara has admitted it's been 'tough' to maintain a routine without her husband Aljaz Skorjanec by her side. The dancer and presenter has spent some time riding solo while her other half takes part in Strictly Come Dancing's 2024 series.

Aljaz delighted fans over the summer when he revealed he was returning to the BBC One dance contest as a professional dancer following a two-year hiatus and he's since been going from strength to strength in the competition with his celebrity dance partner Tasha Ghouri, with the pair set to take part in the semi-final this Saturday night (December 7).

Meanwhile, Strictly fans will have seen Janette back fronting spin-off show It Takes Two, a role she shares with former Strictly contestant and radio host Fleur East, which will officially come to end just before the main show's final on Friday, December 13. She previously said in a video on Instagram: "We are commuting so the plan is that Lyra and I go down to London on Wednesday and we stay Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Aljaz in London and then we come back home on Saturday." Now, Janette has spoken about how she's been finding gettin gtime to herself amid her busy routine as she took to social media with a video in which she could be seen taking some time to move her body with some stretches and pilates-based exercises.
