The dancer and presenter left her Cheshire home for the USA last week alongside her husband Aljaz Skorjanec and their daughter.
It is the first time the Strictly Come Dancing couple, who welcomed their baby girl Lyra Rose into the world last year, have travelled long-haul with their daughter and headed to see Janette's family in Miami.
Sharing a sweet picture of the family of three from the plane, Janette said on Instagram: "Our first long haul flight and it was not as easy or straightforward as we would have liked, but we made it to Miami and in the midst of the madness we found pockets of joy and excitement to be travelling together as a little family."
