BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood announces big career change ahead of 2024 series return

Craig Revel Horwood has revealed a big career move just days after it was revealed he'd be returning to Strictly Come Dancing in just a few months time.

The BBC One dance contest judge is following in the footsteps of co-star Anton Du Beke and is gearing up to release an album.

The 59-year-old star, who is best known for appearing alongside Anton, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse on the judging panel of the his dance show, announced on Monday (June 17) that he has recorded a covers collection titled 'Revelations: Songs Boys Don't Sing'.

He said: "I am thrilled to announce the release of my debut album! It's a momentous occasion for me, and I can't wait to share the songs I've carefully chosen."
