BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland 'quite worn down' in tearful TV appearance after win

Chris McCausland has said he's still feeling 'quite worn down' in his first interview since winning Strictly Come Dancing 2024.

The comedian became emotional as he appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Monday morning (December 16). Chris and his dance partner Dianne Buswell were crowned the BBC One dance contest's 2024 champions during the grand final on Saturday night (December 14).

Chris, 47, was reminded of his spectacular journey in the hit dance show as he made history as Strictly's first-ever blind contestant - and now winner - as he appeared on the morning show. Despite Chris and Dianne receiving a total score of 116 points out of a possible 120, leaving them bottom of the leaderboard in the final, the judges' scores on the night didn't matter and their win solely relied on the public vote, after more than eight million tuned into watch their victory.
