Strictly Come Dancing star Nigel Harman will be returning to the BBC show for this year's upcoming final on Saturday.The former EastEnders actor was forced to leave the competition during the Quarterfinal after suffering a bad injury that stopped him from being able to dance.However, he will be back this weekend to reunite with his professional dance partner Katya Jones much to the delight of fans but he will end up missing out on a major moment.The news of his return after the BBC confirmed to the Mirror that Amanda Abbington would not be back after quitting the show in October.
A spokesperson told the Mirror: " Nigel Harman will be returning for the final of Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday 16th December, he will be featured in the show alongside other 2023 cast members."He had to leave the competition early due to sustaining an injury, therefore will not be performing in the final." After Nigel's sudden exit, a source told The Sun that his departure had left the staff "relieved" as the former Casualty star would often have "mood swings" backstage which would cause bad feelings amongst the staff.A Strictly insider told the publication that the actor "takes himself very seriously" as a performer and fully throws himself into his routines, causing him to get "very emotional" if things don't go to plan.
The source added: "That often means that he can be like a bear with a sore head backstage."They continued: "Viewers got a glimpse of that when he received disappointing scores for their quickstep in Blackpool.
