Strictly Come Dancing star has delighted her co-stars and followers as she reached a major milestone in her cancer journey. The dancer has been openly sharing her journey with her social media following after being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer earlier this year.

Amy, 34, found a lump in her right breast before going on her long-awaited honeymoon with her new husband Ben Jones. She headed off on the celebratory holiday but continued to feel the lump and got it checked out once she returned home.

She was soon told she had breast cancer and shared the news in June, having already undergone a mastectomy and reconstruction surgery.

The Welsh star then faced the news that doctors found another type of cancer, changing her planned course of treatment which she described as a "massive blow" as it meant she couldn't compete on Strictly this year.
