Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has told how she was rushed to hospital amid a 'never-ended health nightmare'. The dancer recently marked the end of her chemotherapy treatment by emotional ringing the bell months after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Amy, 33, announced in June that she'd been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer and had already undergone a mastectomy and reconstruction surgery.
After completing eight rounds of chemotherapy, she had planned to return to Strictly after being forced out of competing in the BBC One dance contest this year.
However, she suffered another setback. Sharing a picture of her wearing a a protective boot on her right foot on Instagram, she wrote: "Not the week I was hoping for since finishing chemo.
