Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts took to social media to voice the same grievance just minutes into the semi-final—the presence of Pete Wicks in the competition.

Fans argue that the ex-TOWIE celeb doesn't have the dance chops to be in the penultimate week of the BBC show, especially when more talented dancers have been sent packing before him and his pro partner Jowita Przystal.

As the show kicked off on Saturday, December 7, featuring stars like Chris McCausland, Tasha Ghouri, JB Gill, and Sarah Hadland, viewers hadn't even seen Pete perform before they started grumbling about his inclusion and even threatened to switch off Strictly for good if he dances his way into next weekend's final.

Over on X, previously known as Twitter, one viewer exclaimed: "If pete doesn't leave this week i'm actually never watching strictly again." Another lamented: "Well let's go, although I'm sure the great voting public will let me down again." A third added their voice saying: "There is not one couple who should go home over Pete." Someone else blasted: "PETE DOES NOT DESERVE TO MAKE THE FINAL.", reports the Mirror.
