Strictly Come Dancing fans have been sharing their comments on the first-ever episode of the show after it re-aired after 20 years.

The debut episode of series one of the BBC dance contest was broadcast on Saturday night (August 10) on BBC4. It was announced last month that the episode would air as part of a special season of throwback programming on the BBC this summer.

Among the collection was the debut episode of Strictly, which wwas first broadcast on May 15 2004, and featured Tess Daly and Sir Bruce Forsyth as presenters.

The late Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Arlene Phillips, and Bruno Tonioli were seen making up the judging panel while David Dickinson, Lesley Garrett, Verona Joseph, Natasha Kaplinsky, Martin Offiah, Erin Boag, Christopher Parker, Claire Sweeney and Jason Wood were among the celebrities taking part.
