Fans of Strictly Come Dancing have claimed Pete Wicks was 'set up for failure' during his latest stint in the ballroom as he suggested his own exit was on the cards.

The podcast host and reality star was riding high following his Halloween Week performance last weekend. He paid homage to Todd Phillips’ Joker film with their haunting Viennese waltz to That’s Life by Frank Sinatra with dance partner Jowita Przystal.

The performance, in which Pete channelled the blockbuster film's lead character, secured them their highest score of the series with 31 points out of a possible 40. Dressed as the late Freddie Mercury, the former TOWIE star performed to a salsa to Queen's Another One Bites the Dust with Jowita.
