Strictly Come Dancing fans have flooded social media with a Gorka Marquez-shaped wish as they were left 'sobbing' over his latest appearance in the ballroom.

The Spanish dancer has been out of the competition for a couple of weeks now after he and celebrity dance partner Dr Punam Krishan fell victim to the BBC One dance contest's Halloween special at the end of last month.

But during the latest results show on Sunday night (November 10), Gorka was seen back on the dance floor as he and his fellow professional dancers took part in a special performance for Remembrance Sunday. There was then a particularly emotional final moment as Gorka, playing a young soldier, turned into a modern day elderly self, before pinning a poppy onto a young girl.
