Dianne Buswell was quick to defiantly reassure Chris McCausland after comments to eachother at the end of their latest Strictly Come Dancing performance were uncovered.

There were tear-jerking scenes in the ballroom for the professional dancer over the weekend as her parents, Rina and Mark, were in the audience to watch their daughter perform live in the ballroom for the first time since she joined the BBC One dance contest seven years ago.

Before Dianne and comedian Chris took to the floor for their latest performance, co-host Tess Daly headed over to welcome Rina and Mark, who are visiting from Australia, into the ballroom.

She then let Mark do the honours of introducing Dianne and Chris to the floor with their Paso Doble to El Gato Montes by Manuel Panella.
