Eleven of the 12 remaining couples competed in week five of the BBC One dance contest on Saturday night with Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice's absence noted.
It was announced on Friday (October 20) that actress Amanda couldn't compete in week five of the BBC One dance contest "due to medical reasons".
She has now confirmed she has withdrawn from the competition completely due to "personal reasons", saying the decision came with the "deepest regret" and that the decision wasn't taken "easily or lightly".
