The BBC Strictly Come Dancing original series hasn't even come to an end yet and already the winner of the pre-recorded Christmas special has been leaked online.

The festive version of the dance competition will air on Christmas Day and will see a host of new celebrities taking to the dancefloor front of a studio audience.

However, it seems that fans don't need to wait to find out the winner now, as the results have circulated online, writes The Mirror. The one-off episode was filmed last night and celebrity contestants include Danny Cipriani, Keisha Buchanan, Tillie Amartey, Sally Nugent, Dan Snow and Jamie Borthwick. And only one couple lifted the Christmas trophy with the studio audience being in on the secret.

Much like the original show, there appeared to be a Strictly mole amongst the Christmas special audience who then shared the winner on social media describing the leak as an 'early Christmas present.' However, not all viewers were happy to find out the result, with many annoyed fans saying they wanted to wait until the special day to watch the whole programme. The mole has caused BBC bosses grief for years, regularly leaking the bottom two and end results from the pre-recorded weekly live shows. All of the usual four judges from this year's series are set to return as Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas will take to the panel for the festive episode. The Strictly Come Dancing semi-final airs this Saturday on BBC One. Get the latest celebrity gossip and telly news sent straight to your inbox.
